COMPANY UPDATES

January: Clocked In. Locked In. Comics Cooking.
What happens when everyone logs off for the holidays and you don’t? Spoiler: you build. While the industry was out eating pie, Twin Star stayed in build mode. Something big clicked, the app leveled up, and the momentum heading into the new year got very real. Come see what we’ve been cooking.
November: VIP Flows & Holiday Chaos
Rainy Oakland has me over-caffeinated and mildly feral, but Twin Star is moving, baby! We just rolled out something big for the VIP Lounge, new surveys are queued up, and early tests are giving us the kind of signal we’ve been chasing. Fundraising is warming up, the pitch is evolving, and the community experiments are getting interesting. Somewhere in there, I’m also trying to negotiate a saner Star Wars marathon with my son. Thanks for being here.
TWIN STAR’s Shackleton Sprint: Cold Patio, Hot Design
We braved the Berkeley tundra (60 degrees and light drizzle) to push the next phase of TWIN STAR’s prototype. Between color systems, purchase flows, and a reader coming to life, this Shackleton Design Sprint proves we can make fire in the cold.
October: Prototype, Paperwork, & Power Plays
We are cooking, y’all. 🔥 The prototype’s coming to life. Digital comics that actually feel alive, not like PDFs in cosplay. We’re now officially a Delaware company (checks can legally be accepted, FLEX). Two surveys are on deck to build our own comics brain trust. The full report here.
September. This crew has motion
TL;DR: We are officially rolling. In August and September, Mark locked the product brief, started app design sprints, built the company infrastructure (LLC, S-Corp, banking), refined the pitch deck, and began investor and advisor talks. The BINARY Kickstarter wrapped, online sales launched, and community events kept growing. Fundraising is the top priority now as the team pushes forward on storefront and reader mockups. TWIN STAR is building the future of comics, one play at a time.
Three Screens, One Dream, Zero Chill
We made some screens, we made some vibes, and nobody threw a whiteboard marker. Progress! The Twin Star Design Crew went full heist-movie montage: Holly wrangled nav, Andy birthed buttons, George poked at the reader, and Mark frosted everything in nuclear green vibes. The prototype’s taking shape, mockups are flexing, and the digital longbox is about to get swole.
